Wishlist of an 11-year old with Lymphoma
A doctor who doesn’t look at the floor when they say ‘We`ll see’
Taste of strawberries without the metal tang of medicines
To hear my mother's laugh without hearing the tremor behind her voice she thinks she is hiding well
Five unsupervised minutes to dance under the rain
One letter from God telling me, ‘You will go to high school’
A vein sturdy enough to take infusion without collapsing
To run on the pavement barefoot without thinking about the IV pole
Lungs strong enough to laugh without getting tired
Sleeping in my mom`s lap without wires around us
To climb a tree
Strong legs to ride my bicycle again
A photo with my family where I do not look like a patient
To have my friends visit me without getting scared
Long hair that gets messy in the wind
Blow candles on my 12th birthday cake.
